First Fridays Genealogy Group
Friday, February 610:00 AM—12:00 PMAmesbury RoomAmesbury Public Library149 Main St., Amesbury, MA, 01913

Calling all family historians: Work on your family history projects in the company of other amateur genealogists!
Meet at the Amesbury Public Library from 10 am-noon the first Friday of each month to talk with others about their and your recent discoveries and roadblocks and to work in the same space on your family research. Ancestry.com is available for free from your own laptop/tablet while connected to the library's Wifi and from library computers.
This program is presented in conjunction with the Amesbury COA but is open to adults of all ages. The goal is for people working on genealogies to get tips and advice from each other and to have a dedicated time to work on their own research, using our resources or their own. Reference librarians can help with tech questions, though not with genealogy research. The library's Head of Archives will drop in from time to time to offer advice and answer questions about the library's local history resources. This program is open to adults of all ages.
